FIND PEACE THROUGH MOVEMENT

Let's move together

HOL(Y)STIC YOGA MOVEMENT

With several hundreds of hours of in-depth yoga teacher trainings and an academic background in yoga philosophy, Sanskrit and classical Tibetan, I offer a wide range of yoga styles – from Ashtanga to Kundalini.

Yoga and movement have accompanied me for almost 20 years, and I completed my initial training while living in Nepal back in the days.

Since, I have travelled the world to learn from the best teachers of various movement styles, integrating these teachings and transform them into my Self.

To this day, I try to remain a student with a beginner’s mind, who sees learning and teaching as inseparable. I have dedicated myself to an ever-changing and never-ending path.

Through years of dedicated, endless practice and the continuous inspiration and influences drawn from all types of movement cultures, I have developed my own teaching style that seamlessly blends tradition with modernity.

My teaching draws on a wide variety of movement influences like Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Budokon, Iyengar, Kundalini, Yin, Restorative, as well as other forms of movement such as Capoeira and Jiu Jitsu.

Out of this integration, my Hol(Y)stic Yoga Movement was born – a holistic approach that combines yoga, breath, diverse movement artsphilosophy and spirituality into a conscious path of embodiment and presence.

Hol(Y)stic Yoga Movement understands movement as embodiment: not “I had this experience,” but “I am this experience.” Every practice becomes the language of the soul of the body. In this language, we practise presence – conscious being in the moment, where tension and release, energy and gentleness come into balance.

Hol(Y)stic Yoga Movement responds to the individual needs of participants in such a way that practice is not only physically experiential, but also internally transformative.

In my sessions you will enjoy a combination of yoga, mobility and movement, which may be challenging while never overstraining your capacities.

My credo is to overcome your own limitations with ease and joy – playfully – and to promote self-exploration.

My holistic approach to yoga and movement is also supported by my university studies in Indology and Buddhism Studies, with a focus on yoga, breath, mantra, Sanskrit, Tibetan and South Asian philosophy.

As both a scholar and a practitioner, I stay researcher and student at the same time and aim to help generate a profoundly transformative yoga and movement practice.

My goal is to open up spaces where you can develop your individual expressiveness, refine your perception and cultivate deep presence through proprioception – on the mat, off the matt in everyday life and far beyond.

To participate in any of these open weekly classes or monthly rituals please contact the hotel, gym or tourism board directly.
