BLÜ HOL(Y)STIC YOGA MOVEMENT DAYS
Move. Explore. Breathe. Restore.
Join me for selected Hol(Y)stic Yoga Movement Weekends at Hotel BLÜ in Bad Hofgastein - immersive movement days specially created for a group and held in the intimate setting of the BLÜ YogaSpace.
A weekend to move, explore, breathe, connect and dive deeper into the Hol(Y)stic Movement practice.
Mornings are for movement:
We explore a modern evolution of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga - blending fluid, coordinative transitions with playful movement, mobility and strengthening yoga postures. Expect an intelligent, dynamic practice that challenges both body and mind while leaving space for curiosity and exploration.
Evenings are for slowing down.
A quieter, somatic practice designed to regulate and calm the nervous system. Guided by the depth and rhythm of your breath, we shift from doing into sensing - creating space to release, soften and reconnect.

YOGA with Fia Sonora
Starting 2026 on december, 12th :
on saturdays from 4.30 - 5.30
in Bad Hofgastein, Tauernplatz 1.
Join me for a mindful moving meditation - sessions are fun and promote agility, flexibility, mobility and strength through functional movement in yogic tradition.
We build new exciting movement patterns, deconstruct them and develop them further.
The focus is on improving the holistic movement pattern through exploration of yogic methods, postures and transitions.
These sessions are open to any level of experience, beginner as advanced.
We explore yogic techniques and sometimes include props, partnering exercices and playful exercices .

PRANAYAMA & BREATHWORK
WINTERKRAFT - CONSCIOUS BREATHING
Breathe deeper. Feel more. Ignite your inner fire.
As the world outside becomes colder and quieter, we awaken warmth and strength from within.
Winterkraft is an exploration of conscious breathing - using the breath as a bridge between body, nervous system and mind.
At the heart of the practice are different techniques from Pranayama, the ancient yogic practice of consciously directing and expanding the breath.
Dynamic techniques such as Kapalabhati create warmth and activation within the body and are balanced with slower, regulating breathing practices.
Rather than approaching breath only as a technique, we explore it as a direct physical and somatic experience:
How does breathing change the way we feel?
How does it influence our inner state? And how can we consciously use the breath to navigate between activation and stillness?
The practice combines Pranayama, Breathwork, gentle movement and somatic awareness, creating space to deepen your relationship with your breath and experience its transformative power.

ICE BATH - COLD PLUNGES
Every saturday from 10.00 -11.30 I invite you to discover the invigorating power of cold immersion at Hotel BLÜ.
Ice Baths are more than just a refreshing dip – it’s a mindful journey that strengthens your body, sharpens your mind, and awakens your inner resilience.
With guidance and breathing techniques, you’ll learn to meet the cold with presence and ease, unlocking both physical and mental benefits: improved circulation, boosted energy, enhanced focus, and a deep sense of clarity.
Whether you are new to cold exposure or already experienced, this practice invites you to challenge your limits, expand your comfort zone, and reconnect with your natural strength.
Stepping into the ice means tapping into your power - leaving you with a feeling of being refreshed, centered, and fully alive.

HOL(Y)STIC YOGA MOVEMENT
My teaching is a living fusion of tradition and modernity, of philosophy and science, of the spaces within us and the spaces around us.
I offer an integrative movement practice that brings together elements of Movement, Yoga, Mobility and Strength, creating a bridge between body and consciousness, inner and outer worlds, experience and embodiment.
My approach to movement is rooted in freedom of movement : expanding both our ability and our capacity to move.
I see Movement as a sacred spiritual path - as the embodiment of presence.
HOL(Y)STIC YOGA MOVEMENT
At the heart of my Hol(Y)stic Yoga Movement sessions is alchemy: the art of transforming everyday bullshit into meaningful embodiment.
The practice has evolved through more than 20 years of experience, research, movement and personal practice - and it continues to evolve.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people and bodies: people navigating ordinary everyday life and all its challenges, guests in therapeutic and rehabilitation settings, ambitious athletes and elite professional athletes.
From the desire for greater mobility, strength and well-being to dealing with stress and physical limitations, all the way to athletic performance - different people bring different stories, needs and starting points.
That is why the focus is not on achieving the perfect form, but on the person who is moving.
FROM EXPERIENCE TO EMBODIMENT
I offer practices that help bridge our inner and outer experience through conscious breath and fluid movement.
Movement is understood here as embodiment - not as “I had this experience,” but as “I am this experience.”
Movement becomes the language of the body - and a way of perceiving ourselves more directly.
Through this language, we practice presence: consciously inhabiting the moment and learning to work with the polarities that constantly accompany us - tension and release, strength and softness, stability and freedom, control and surrender.
We practice walking on the pathway towards true balance.
The practice can be physically and mentally engaging. Sessions are designed to extend awareness and expand consciousness, while supporting nervous system regulation through conscious breathwork and somatic practices.
This is where the inner and outer meet: where strength does not exclude softness, where mobility is more than flexibility, and where movement becomes a way of exploring how we relate to ourselves, to our bodies and to the world around us.
RESEARCH. PRACTICE. TEACH. REPEAT.
As being both a scholar and practitioner (yes - I actually am an academic researcher in Indology at university), my work consciously moves between theory and experience, tradition and contemporary movement, philosophy and science, between research and lived practice.
I try to preserve that beginner’s mind: to remain curious, to keep exploring, questioning and learning again and again.
Because for me, there is no point at which practice is ever finished.
